this page is dedicated to SKULLGIRLS, the best fighting game ever made (definitely a fact and not an opinion). i've known about skullgirls since around 2019, but i started playing it myself in 2020. the world and characters captivated me, and i found myself appreciating it beyond the gameplay (WHICH IS REALLY GOOD!) it has surprisingly complex lore for a titty fighting game, and the characters are all interesting with their own story modes and lore to be found outside of the game. the skullgirls community is one of the few online communities i feel good being a part of. everyone is super kind and willing to help. also the fanart is insane and GORGEOUS.
robo my robo... my underappreciated queen. i love joke characters, and she's the silliest of them all. she wasn't even confirmed canon until last year! her story mode is my favorite of them all, who doesn't love a good story about a robot's quest for purpose? (her purpose is to pilot giant mechs and destroy the world btw)
painwheel is such a tragic character, an innocent young girl, kidnapped and forced to be a weapon. she's super strong, resilient, and overall very impressive considering what she's been through. thank god the skullgirls writers gave her a happy ending.
i hated parasoul for the longest time. her design is boring, her personality is (seemingly) boring, her backstory is boring, so why like her? well, dear reader, parasoul shines in her interactions with her sister, umbrella. she puts her life on the line just to ensure umbrella's safety, even going on a suicide mission to confront the skullgirl in order to save umbrella. also she's the leader of a military task force called the black egrets i think thats cool.
its annie of the stars! annie of the fucking stars! in my very own house! i love annie's stage, theme, personality, design, quite literally everything about her. annie being immortal and completely fed up/bored with everything going on with everything going on around her is always entertaining to watch. when she was revealed to be playable i cried and threw up.
filia and samson are a two for the price of one combo. i think that they are kinda mid on their own but together they make a really interesting and entertaining character. filia is a very normal boring straight country music FEMALE and samson is a leech parasite on her head i love their dynamic.
